Pakistan fielding coach threatens to quit after spat with players. Luden conveyed his reservations regarding reported spat with Shahid Afridi, Umer Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad during a training session.Luden was appointed by former PCB chairman Najam Sethi soon after Waqar Younis was hired as head coach, Mushtaq Ahmad as spin bowling coach and Grant Flower as the batting coach. Formally he was the trainer of the Bangladesh team in 2014. He then signed a two year contract with the PCB. This is a setback for the Pakistani team which is already suffering the criticism brought by their poor performance against India.
Sources told Geo News that the PCB chief has directed team manager Naveed Akram Cheema to resolve the matter following his telephonic conversation with him.
Pakistan fielding coach Grant Luden, disappointed with the team’s poor showing against India and unhappy with the attitude of senior players, tendered in his resignation soon after the Adelaide defeat, Dawn reported.
