After the courageous stance on Zimbabwe Cricket Board and their tour to Pakistan, international cricket have returned to the country which was being ignored for a period of six years. Zimbabwe was the very next team which was about to visit Pakistan back in 2009 after the SriLankan Team Attack, but things changed so rapidly that then no other team was interested to step in to Pakistani cricket grounds.
However ICC still refused to cooperate as they did not allowed their officials to visit Pakistan to organize the series. But still the status of the tour was being marked as International even under the supervision of Home team officials.
